School Showcase
CHUA CHU KANG SECONDARY SCHOOL
Chua Chu Kang Secondary School advances its vision of nurturing future-ready learners through a sustained partnership with National Institute of Education (NIE) and support from the Ministry of Education (MOE). This collaboration bridges research, innovation, and pedagogy, enabling evidence-informed teaching practices that strengthen instructional quality and student learning outcomes.
Under the initiative Partnering for Growth: Bridging Research, Innovation and Pedagogical Possibilities, the school has embarked on collaborative projects with NIE such as the MOE-funded Curriculum-idea-Analytics– a word cloud analytics that visualises the overlap between keywords from students discourse and curriculum key concepts – in supporting metacognition and disciplinary thinking, and The History Times, a cross-school Knowledge Building collaboration where students co-construct knowledge and curate publications for global audiences. These projects have evolved into The Singapore Times, a multidisciplinary programme fostering greater student-driven inquiry and authentic knowledge creation.
Responding to the rise of artificial intelligence, the school has co-developed the AI-CRAFT pedagogical approach, with NIE providing the theoretical grounding and specialised research expertise in the evolving applications of AI in education. This approach supports educators in striking a balance between positioning AI as a collaborative partner in education and safeguarding student agency in learning.
Participants will gain practical strategies, design insights, and exemplars to implement Knowledge Building and AI-CRAFT, enabling the shifts toward students as co-designers, teachers as inventors, and AI as a collaborative partner for sustainable improvement of ideas.

Build Resilience Deepen CCE
When CCE goes beyond teaching of values and becomes a way of life.
Project 1 - Through strengths-based coaching, teachers discover their strengths and take ownership of designing lessons that are enriched through CCE pedagogy and facilitation strategies, thereby bringing CCE values to life in their students' holistic development and experiences.
Project 2 - In partnership with NIE, Singapore, we co-design evidence-based learning experiences that harness the power of friendships to build resilience in students, equipping them with the socio-emotional skills to navigate challenges.
Join us in shaping students for values-based learning and reach out to find out more about strengths-based coaching at the Presentation by NIE SCCCE & Greenridge Primary School!
