Science of Learning in Education Centre, NIE
The Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC) was established in 2021 to advance interdisciplinary research that supports National Institute of Education (NIE)’s vision of leading the future of education. The Centre integrates insights from neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, technology, and education to better understand how learning occurs and how research can inform practice. SoLEC also bridges laboratory-based studies with real-world learning environments such as schools and classrooms, translating evidence into meaningful educational impact. The Centre houses an experimental classroom and advanced neuroscience research facilities to support studies on teaching, learning, and learner development in Singapore and beyond.

National Institute of Education
The NIE Exhibition Booth showcases a range of education research and professional learning resources developed by the National Institute of Education. Participants can explore SingTeach, NIE’s flagship publication for educators, alongside NIE academic journals featuring current education research across diverse fields. Colleagues from NIE’s Graduate and Professional Learning Office will also be present to share information on postgraduate and professional development programmes offered at NIE.
